Biography of Laelanie Larach

Laelanie Larach was born in Honduras located in Central America, it was this beautiful combination of mountains, tropical forests, and sandy beaches that inspired at a young age to begin experimenting with her artistic expression. In her earliest work she used pastels, watercolors, and charcoal. After winning some small art contests in school, she was inspired to expand her work into the medium of oil on canvas.
Artistic Journey
This resulted in her amazing masterpiece in oil, the painting called, “Mysterious Forest.” Each oil painting is unique with a signature in her work of vibrant colors and concepts. Throughout her body of work one can see themes drawn from her early experiences in Honduras, including aspects of her inner thoughts and emotions. Laelanie Larach has said that she feels truly alive and in harmony with nature when she is painting also her work spans various schools of art, from the abstract to detailed realism.
Her unique talent has been recognized by her peers in the art industry, as shown by the many exhibits to which Laelanie Larach has been invited to display her work in her native country, New York City, and at Spectrum Miami/Art Basel/ Miami Week. Laelanie Larach iconic painting “Hawaiian Heavenly Flower,” won a major competition to be featured on the inside back cover of the prestigious art magazine, Art & Beyond 2017, 2018 and 2019.
And, she has been featured in recognize magazines like in Florida Daily Post, Shout Out Miami, newspaper La Prensa in Honduras, Hola magazine and an exclusive interview with Telemundo. Laelanie Larach was also selected for the Life Time Miami Marathon 2025 medal ribbon design.

Artistic Memories of Laelanie Larach
Back in Honduras the art studio of Laelanie Larach was stunning with a garden and always a view to her favorite trees, she always loves to paint during the night or in the morning…. It all depends on the mood and level of inspiration that Laelanie Larach has in that moment. She remembered going to the lake with her family and sailing away on a small boat near the mountains and watching the sunset that was also inspiring for any creative artist.
