Laelanie Larach created a ribbon design this year for the medal of Life Time Miami Marathon. The concept is tropical with palm trees, ocean waves, sunsets spinning in spirals creating a tridimensional effect behind the design. Laelanie created a special painting “Tropical Sunsets and Palm Trees” is the name of the stunning original oil painting that reflects the energy of the marathon along with the effort of the runners running in the marathon. The design is divided in three sections and each one has a story related to the energy of Miami and the concept of the marathon, it also reflects Laelanie Hispanic background and love for our natural world. Laelanie Larach is a talented artist based in Miami and originally from Honduras a beautiful tropical Caribbean country that gave her a lot of inspiration behind her iconic original oil paintings that she created at a young age. A self-taught artist that began painting with oils on canvas her first landscape with surreal trees and jungles, her first artwork is very traditional, and it has a lot of emotions, those paintings that she created back in Honduras belongs to her private art collection and therefore are not for sale, because they have a lot of emotions and memories that Laelanie Larach has inside her heart.

The years passed and her colors changed to a bright color palette with deep navy blue, turquoise, magenta and other colors, part of her new art style that is all tropical with bright summer colors that she loves using while painting at her art studio.
